I made the 5 hour trip with a few good friends from here in Amarillo for the 20th Annual ARCOR Tumbleweed Classic. The guys at ARCOR always put on a good race, great people on top of another great weekend of racing. I ended up TQ’ing 4x4 SCT, 2nd in E-buggy, qualified 3rd in Nitro. Took 1st in 4X4 SCT my TEKNO SCT410 was a rocket all weekend winning 3 of 4 heats and the main. Took 2nd in E buggy finishing 3rd in A-1 and 2nd in A2, both races having to come back from bad starts. Then 4th in Nitro Buggy, I had a new pit guy this run as my regular pit man was unable to make the trip ( William, my son tore his ACL in his football game last week and is now and a full leg brace). While he did a great good I had a few flame outs while fueling. I am truly blessed to have such great friends and be able to go to these races.
