HOBBYWING Driver Anthony takes TQ & Win at the 2015 BRL Nationals

A HOBBYWING driver Anthony Searls ended the year on a good note with a TQ and the Win at the BRL Nationals.

One of the most interesting races of the day was the Tekin 13.5 Open A Main. It featured not only the battle for the win on track but also the season points title. At the tone, TQ Anthony Searls checked out on the field, leading tone to tone with his HOBBYWING powered T-Rex and completed the job in convincing fashion. Meanwhile, Koback ran second, exactly three spots ahead of Makus right where he needed to be. But easy wasn't going to be part of the story for Koback, as the car became increasingly wicked as the race wore on, suffering from snap oversteer.

In the final 5 laps, Jeremy Reilley closed on him finally getting a clean shot to pass the crippled SCX2, ending Kobacks' title chances. Chad Brundidge would sneak by in the final corner to take third, Koback fourth just ahead of Makus. Ean Reilley would finish sixth after a stout run was derailed by contact. Kleinhagen and Byrum both exited early with issues.

Special thanks to: Team Trinity, HOBBYWING, FalconSekido, Eric Anderson(EA motorsports), ReVtech, Ron Schuur, BSR tires, Muddslide, and Hella Graffix for the support.
