Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions for HOBBYWING Electric Propulsion System (EPS) Products.

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your interest in HOBBYWING Electrical Propulsion System (EPS) products. To protect both parties and ensure compliance, please carefully review the following terms and return this signed form as confirmation.

  1. Sales Order Process

Building a high-performance Electric Propulsion System (EPS) is complex. HOBBYWING may offer sample units at a reduced price to support your design evaluation. The customer is solely responsible for verifying that the selected products are compatible with and suitable for the final aircraft or system. Once compatibility is confirmed, you may proceed with the order. Due to the nature of these products, HOBBYWING cannot control quality or performance after the products are sold and delivered. Therefore, all EPS sales are final, except that you may be eligible to request a return if the returned products meet the applicable RMA terms and conditions. Please provide your Purchase Order (PO) number when requested.

Products Disclaimer: (for US customers)

HOBBYWING EPS products (including motors, ESCs, integrated propulsion systems, and related components) are sold as components for integration into complete UAV/drone systems. These products comply with applicable FCC Part 15 incidental radiator requirements and relevant EMC standards through good engineering practices. However, the final assembled system may require additional certification, testing, and compliance by the integrator or end-user depending on specific RF features, intended use, and regulatory jurisdiction. The buyer assumes full responsibility for ensuring the complete system meets all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to FCC, FAA, and import/export regulations. Hobbywing North America makes no representations or warranties regarding the final system’s regulatory compliance or fitness for any particular purpose. Use of these products is at the buyer’s own risk. Hobbywing North America disclaims all liability for any claims, damages, or losses arising from improper installation, integration, modification, or use of these components. By accepting this quote or invoice, the buyer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Hobbywing North America from any related claims.

2. Right to Reject & End-Use Restriction

HOBBYWING reserves the right to reject any sale at its sole discretion.

End-Use Certification: By signing this form, the Customer confirms and certifies that the products will not be used, directly or indirectly, for any purpose related to mass destruction, warfare, weapons systems, military attack systems, or any other unlawful or prohibited activities. The Customer further agrees that HOBBYWING has no control over the products after they are sold and delivered. All subsequent use, installation, integration, modification, and operation are solely the responsibility of the Customer.

3. Return Policy (North America Website Orders)

Sales are generally final. However, for orders purchased through the official North America website (www.hobbywing.com/us | www.hobbywingdirect.com), the Customer may request a return for RMA inspection within 30 days from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions:

  • All items must be returned brand-new, unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
  • No signs of use, soldering, installation, hairline scratches, wear, or any alteration are permitted.
  • A 15% restocking fee will apply to all units.
  • Returned products that show any damage, signs of use, installation, soldering, or wear (including hairline scratches) will be stored for 10 business days and disposed of thereafter.

You are eligible to request a return only if the returned products fully meet the above terms and conditions. To initiate an RMA request, contact customer service with your order number.

4. Limited Warranty – Summary

HOBBYWING offers a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. For UAS commercial or industrial applications, once EPS product is installed and powered regardless of use, it is no longer covered by the standard warranty. Report any physical damage immediately, retain all packaging and damaged parts, and take clear photographs. You may reject the package if delivery damage is evident and contact your account advisor.
