HOBBYWING WINS BIG IN VEGAS!

HOBBYWING-powered drivers had an incredible weekend at the 2026 Team Associated Vintage Championships, earning seven class victories across the 2WD, 4WD, and Truck divisions!

One of the biggest highlights was the battle between Spencer Rivkin and Ryan Cavalieri in the 2WD 1989–1993 Open class. Spencer was the man to beat throughout qualifying, earning the overall TQ and starting at the front of the field.

Ryan responded with an incredible A1 performance, setting the time and pace everyone would have to beat. Spencer came back strong with an amazing drive to win A2, but Ryan’s combined points gave him the overall victory, with Spencer finishing second.

Both drivers used the V10 G5 Torque Edition motor paired with the XR10 Pro G3X ESC.

Ryan also earned the overall TQ and victory in the 4WD 1994–2000 Open class using a car provided by Jason Grimes. Jason, a local racer at Hoosier R/C Hobbyplex and an “old-school” racer himself, trusted Ryan with his ride—and together they brought home another big win for HOBBYWING!

The winning cars used a combination of HOBBYWING V10 G4 and V10 G5 motors, paired with XR10 G2 and XR10 Pro G3X ESCs.
