HOBBYWING Wins at the 2026 Whip Fest

This weekend, the HOBBYWING team made the trip to Reno, Nevada, for the 2026 Whip Fest at Whip It R/C. Team drivers Davey Batta, Levi Raymond, Chase Raymond, and Kadin Meeks competed in a stacked Modified field on an amazing layout that was fast, technical, and just unforgiving enough to keep every driver on their toes.

When the racing was over, it was HOBBYWING power standing on top.

Davey Batta completed a clean sweep in Modified 2WD, earning the TQ in all three rounds of qualifying before taking the win in both A-Mains. Chase Raymond kept the pressure on while fighting for the top spot, with his brother Levi completing the podium in third.

Davey powered his Team Associated ride with the HOBBYWING XR10 Pro G3X ESC and V10 G3 7.5T motor.

Along with providing HOBBYWING technical support throughout the weekend, Matthew Gonzales also competed in the Pro Stock class. Matthew earned the overall TQ and win using the V10 G5 17.5T Torque Edition motor and XR10 Pro G3X ESC.

A big congratulations also goes to Maddox Grant on his Novice-class victory! Maddox used the V10 G5 21.5T motor and XR10 Justock G3S ESC, providing him with a simple yet effective power system on his way to the win.
