This past weekend I attended the Spring Sting race in Myrtle Beach, SC.  There were almost 200 entries at this event and competition was stacked in all classes.  In 1/8 Electric Buggy i was able to qualify 5th overall.  In the main event i quickly got around 4th and 3rd who had collided into each other on the opening lap.  It would be two hobbywing drivers, myself and Pat Rossiter up front for most of the 10 minute main event within a second apart.  I lot of people watched as the battle intensified but I was unable to seal the deal and did not want to make an aggressive move that may cost us both a good finish.  With a minute left to go I would make a few bobbles that cost me a position and i would take 3rd, but overall i am very happy and i have to say my Hobbywing XERUN150 esc and 1800kv 4274sd motor worked great!
